What Data We Collect
Pikka stores shopping lists and associated items in a database located in Frankfurt, Germany (EU). When you use the app without providing an email, we create an anonymous account with a random code. No personal data is collected until you voluntarily add an email address.
Hosting & Data Processing
All data is stored and processed on servers within the European Union. We use Vercel (Frankfurt) for hosting and Neon PostgreSQL (Frankfurt) for the database.
Cookies
Pikka uses a single technically necessary cookie to manage your session. No tracking or advertising cookies are used.
Analytics
We use Umami, a privacy-friendly analytics tool that works without cookies and does not collect personal data. Umami is self-hosted on our own infrastructure in Germany.
